Common questions: Android
Why did a call still ring?
Hidden numbers and internet calls like WhatsApp can't be screened. Family-list and repeat callers ring on purpose. Calls from saved contacts ring unless you allowed NamazClick to read contacts.
Calls rang at the wrong time
Check your jamaat times in the app, and that 'Alarms & reminders' and Do Not Disturb access are allowed for NamazClick. Some phones also need battery optimisation turned off for NamazClick.
Another app screens my calls
Only one app can screen calls at a time. Choose NamazClick when the app asks for the call-screening permission to switch.
Common questions: Snap and mosques
The times read from my photo are wrong
Fix them on the check screen before you tap Done: every time can be edited, and doubtful ones are highlighted. For a better read, stand straight in front of the board, fill the frame with it, and avoid glare. For LED or TV boards, use the plain camera mode.
A mosque's times or location are wrong
Open the mosque and tap Report. Or snap its board again: your phone uses your times at once. If other namazis confirmed the old times, the mosque page changes once namazis on other networks confirm the new board too.
A photo shows people
A photo in which our automatic check finds people is never stored or shown. The check can miss someone: if you see one, tap Report and choose "Shows people". It is hidden at once and deleted within 24 hours.
Do I need an account?
No. NamazClick has no accounts. A random install ID on your phone links your follows, reports, scans and hidden contributors so you can delete them in Settings → Privacy and data. The app never shows the ID itself; for an email request it shows a deletion code instead.
Common questions: iPhone
Why can't NamazClick block calls on iPhone?
Apple doesn't allow apps to block calls. A Namaz Focus does the job instead, and the app guides you through setting it up.
My reminders don't arrive
Check that notifications are allowed for NamazClick in the iPhone Settings app.
Your data
Calls, contacts and messages never leave your phone. Photos, locations and times you send with Snap or Mosques are handled as the privacy policy explains. To report content, use Report on the mosque page or email us. See how to delete your data.
More answers are in the FAQ. What you may share, and how reports are handled, is in our community guidelines.
